Pressed Nuts – Square

Pressed nuts, often referred to as half nuts, thin nuts, or jam nuts, are a type of nut that is approximately half the height of standard hex nuts. Despite their reduced profile, pressed nuts maintain the same internal threading as their full-height counterparts, allowing them to be used with standard bolts or threaded rods. These nuts are commonly employed in applications where space constraints or clearance issues prevent the use of standard-height nuts. Their lower profile makes them particularly suitable for situations where a thinner nut is required to achieve proper tightening without protruding beyond the surface of the fastened material.
