These teeth provide additional gripping power and enhanced retention when installed in grooves or recesses on shafts or circular components. The teeth on the inside of the circlip create increased contact points between the circlip and the groove, resulting in higher resistance to axial movement and rotation. This design feature helps prevent the circlip from slipping or dislodging, even under heavy loads or vibration.
