HGB & SHGB Type Discharge Bypass

The Sporlan Type HGB and SHGB discharge bypass regulating valves, constructed with brass bodies, come in direct acting and pilot operated variants. Direct acting valves are available with adjustable settings and are designed for smaller capacities, while pilot operated valves, with adjustable settings as well, cater to larger capacities. These valves, also known as DBV valves, serve to limit the minimum evaporating pressure during low load conditions to prevent coil icing or compressor operation below the designed suction pressure. They undergo rigorous factory testing to ensure leak-free performance. Featuring options like an inlet strainer and adjustable settings, they operate using a piston mechanism and are electrically operated for pilot pressure-control functions. Suitable for various industrial, refrigeration, and air conditioning applications, they provide discharge and suction bypass capabilities across a DN range of 0.25 inches to 1.375 inches, with a pressure range between 450 psi and 700 psi.
