The SFFECO Modular Series Fire Extinguishers, Model SFM45, are self-contained standalone systems designed to be economical, simple, and adaptable to local conditions. They employ sprinkler technology with a gas-tight quartzoid bulb sprinkler head, optionally fitted with a pyrotechnic electric actuator (24 VDC) for activation. Activation can be initiated remotely via a controlled release fire extinguishing panel or by thermally fusing the glass bulb, which is available in various fixed temperature ranges. The cylinders are constructed from carbon steel, factory-welded with argon/CO2, sandblasted, finished in white, oven-baked, and coated with electrostatic powder. These extinguishers are particularly suitable for protecting electrical equipment rooms, server rooms, gas stations, paint spray booths, flammable liquid storage areas, engine compartments of boats, and small rooms prone to fire risks. The cylinders undergo hydrostatic testing at 30 bar pressure.
